DIGITALTOYSHOP WARRANTIES AND GENERAL CONDITIONS

 

This document sets out the general conditions you accept when you place orders with DigitalToyShop via our website or third parties.

You will be taken to have accepted these when you place your order, and should bear this in mind in your future communications with our staff.

 

DigitalToyShop sends emails to confirm all orders placed with us. Clients should remember any spam and unwanted mail-blocking applied to their email accounts. If you have any questions or enquiries, please contact us on the telephone numbers below and on our web page.

DigitalToyShop keeps its clients informed of the status of orders by email until these are dispatched, from which time the transport company selected to deliver the products acquired should be contacted, bearing in mind that

DigitalToyShop INCLUDES INSURANCE ON ALL ITS DELIVERIES.

DigitalToyShop provides FREE Customer Service to clients via email. Costs arising from any other methods of communication will be payable by the client, including telephone calls, which will be charged to the client's telephone service provider.

DigitalToyShop will dispatch the products ordered, taking into account the photographs appearing on the web page, which are, however, for guidance purposes only. The actual goods may vary, as they are delivered in sealed boxes and any differences may go undetected until used. DigitalToyShop will not be held liable for any mistaken interpretations by the client..

DigitalToyShop may decide not to deliver product/s which, when tested at our facilities, do not meet the quality we at DigitalToyShop wish to offer you. The product/s may subsequently be delivered free of charge to you, or the cost of any such products may be reimbursed.

 

DigitalToyShop WILL NOT SAVE financial data from any customer like Credit Cards details or Bank Account numbers after the payment or the refund be completed. For this, we will not make future payments, neither recurring ones. Refunds of electronic payments will be made with the same payment method the customer used and thus cancelling the payment.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT WARRANTIES

 

CLAIMS RELATING TO THE DELIVERY

Any claims relating to the transport of the package should be addressed to the transport company.

The transport company is responsible for delivering the package in a suitable condition.

 

EXCHANGING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If a defective product requires replacement, please contact us by email.

Please bear in mind that clients often think that products are defective, while the real problem is that they do not know how to use them.  For example, the lenses that we sell: many of these require at least some basic knowledge of photography to be used.

These products should often be sent to the manufacturer (for example cameras) as they are covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee (established under guarantee law).

It is also advisable to look inside the box containing the product, as these items come with information regarding where to send them if they are defective.

 

            RETURNS / INCORRECT PRODUCTS: If you wish to return a product, you must do so within 7 days of receipt.

 

In any event, send an email to support@digitaltoyshop.com giving details of the reason and your order number. Once a file has been opened for you, you will be contacted with an “RMA” (Returns) NUMBER. Without this number your return cannot be processed.

THE PRODUCT MUST BE RETURNED WITH ALL THE PARTS WITH WHICH IT WAS DELIVERED, BOXES, MANUALS, PAPERWORK, ETC, WITHOUT ANY MARKS OR EVIDENCE OF USE OR ANY KIND. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGING AND ADEQUATELY PROTECTING THE GOODS YOU SEND TO US.  TO PROCEDE, WE MUST HAVE THE PRODUCTS IN OUR POSSESSION, THEREFORE YOU MUST SEND THEM TO THE ADDRESS WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH BY EMAIL OR TELEPHONE. YOU MUST PAY THE TRANSPORT COSTS, AS UNTIL WE EXAMINE THE PRODUCTS PERSONALLY WE WILL BE UNAWARE OF ANY POSSIBLE PROBLEMS.

IF ANY OF THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET, THE GUARANTEE MAY BE REVOKED AND THE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT DIMINISHED.

If you intend to claim transport costs when you return the product, you should send them by standard mail (ordinary post). Remember that it is the transport company that is responsible for the merchandise arriving in good order. If you wish to send the products using a faster method or one offering higher levels of guarantee, you will be responsible for paying the additional costs.

Charges for the second delivery (when you exchange a product for example) will normally be payable by us. There are some exceptions. Please contact us if you have any questions.

 

REMEMBER, YOU MUST ALWAYS INCLUDE

·          The RMA (returns) number, which we will give you when you contact us

·          Your order number

Your return cannot be processed without this information.

 

It is also a good idea to include a note giving details of the facts and what you are requesting.

·          What happened with the products

·          Which products you would like replaced

·          Any other information you believe is helpful

 

Refunds

Refunds are made within 15 days of our receiving the product (remember, the legal period is one month)

For this, you must include

·          The RMA (returns) number, which we will give you when you contact us

·          Your order number

·          The 20 digits of your bank account

Without this information was cannot return your money

Additional conditions may apply depending on each case. Please contact us to confirm.

No refunds will be made in the case of:

·          Used or damaged products.

·          Products with missing parts of the goods or packaging.

·          Products returned after expiry of the 7-day period.

 

DELIVERY COSTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED, EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF A FREE DELIVERY OFFER.  THE SUM PAYABLE WILL BE THAT DETAILED ON OUR PROMOTIONAL WEBPAGE.

 

THE PRODUCT MUST BE RETURNED WITH ALL THE PARTS WITH WHICH IT WAS DELIVERED, BOXES, MANUALS, PAPERWORK, ETC, WITHOUT ANY MARKS OR EVIDENCE OF USE OR ANY KIND. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGING AND ADEQUATELY PROTECTING THE GOODS YOU SEND TO US.

If you purchased the product via an auction site or any third party method, the commission paid to these parties may not be returned.  The same applies to commissions charged by the payment method you selected.

If you paid the delivery costs, these will not be reimbursed.  This is because the product was delivered correctly (in fact you are reading the text inside the packaging).
